Frankly, most of them suck!
How bad do they suck? Most people never find out because, you know what, 80% of people who receive a bonus from an affiliate marketer for purchasing through their affiliate link, NEVER USE IT!!!
So what does that tell us? It tell me a couple of things and this is important. Firstly, people who do check out their bonus (and who wouldn't?) find them generally lacking any real value and never delve further into them.
Secondly, and I think that this is crucial to understand, bonuses should help compliment the main purchase. They should save you time and get you closer to your goal of making lot of money, not further away. I have purchased products with 20 - 30 bonuses included that I could never possibly have gotten through even if the majority of them weren't utter crap, which, of course, they were. For me, junk bonuses of tired old products and stale PLR crap only serve to devalue the original purchase.
